We are now in a hotel in Great Falls, our staging area for our flight tomorrow. Georgie is wearing a disposable diaper for the first time since she was 2 days old. In these pictures she's wearing a 7th Gen. size 3. That was the best option available in Great Falls, though it still has some of the weird chemicals in it. We are much more excited about the disposables waiting for her at her grandparents' house -- a Swedish brand called Nature Babycare. Not that we are switching from our beloved cloth. It would just be basically impossible to deal with on the cruise ship.
I'm still not sure what we do for a night diaper. I hope we don't have to get up in the middle of the night to change because she's not wearing her wool. I guess these things are designed to be more absorbent though. I just hope Georgie doesn't like them too much, because we're not shelling out that kind of money every week.

Hello folks! My husband and I are friends of Steve and Darla's and I was just catching up a bit on your blog. Darla wrote to you on our behalf several months ago, asking which cloth diapers you'd recommend. I want you to know that I saved your response to her (which she then sent to me) and reference it quite often. I am at almost 37 weeks and polishing up our starter collection, so I decided to re-visit your blog.
I say all that to say: I see that you use wool covers!! This is something I've just discovered and am hoping you'll comment back on my blog with any wool diaper cover tips. Of course, I expect this would happen after your cruise and any other important things you've got going. Happy travels!
