Weekend review

A pretty low-key weekend at the S-H house. We went to the newly re-vamped American History museum Friday. Georgie and I concentrated on the transportation sections, where we saw big trains and neat cars.

Saturday we saw family friend Jackie and her daughter Abbey, the latter of whom I haven't seen in almost 20 years. Georgie got a giant stuffed moose from Michigan's Copper Country.

Today we had really nice weather so we headed out to Burke Lake Park in Fairfax County. They have a mini-train and a carousel, neither of which Georgie cared for as much as we had hoped. But we had fun walking around and getting some sun.
