Happy Thanksgiving, part two

Due to scheduling conflicts, our real Thanksgiving was yesterday.

Georgie woke up in a really good mood. We played around the house a little and then her and I went shopping while Nikki got some food ready and had some time to herself.

I took Georgie to IKEA, where the doorbuster deal was free breakfast. I got one and Georgie got one. :)

When we got to the kids section, we found out that they also have toy kitchens to play with there. So Georgie played with her second kitchen of the day.



Georgie can't pass up a big girl bed without wanting to lay in it. I think that means we need to look into getting her a big girl bed.

We still haven't found Georgie a winter coat, in part because they all seem to look like this one at Target.

After Georgie's nap, it was time to go over to Rachelle, Lubo, and Milena's for our dinner. I roasted a duck and made Brussels sprouts and sweet potatoes. Nikki brought pear crisp and homemade shortbread cookies for dessert. Rachelle and Lubo made some great broiled scallops, marinated mushrooms, broccoli casserole, and beer cheese for an appetizer.

Georgie and Milena were too excited (and too filled up on crackers) to eat with us for very long. They instead read books, laid on the couch, and did some dancing.
