Sorry for not blogging much lately. We've been busy and haven't taken many pictures. Here are a few pictures from this morning. Our friend Chanda is here for a conference and we were lucky to spend some time with her today. Nikki and her went out for breakfast this morning so Georgie and I got some play time. We played pirate ship and house with the Sunshine family and then played trains. Then we read a while. It was a nice morning. More to come this weekend, stay tuned.

Looks like she has a pretty good library already. Does she have a favorite book? Or subject matter?
She has several favorites, depending on the occasion. At night she always wants to read the 'ham' book (Green Eggs & Ham) and usually also Good Night Moon and Good Night Gorilla.
During waking hours, she often wants to read a book we got to help kids learn Russian. It has very busy pictures -- I think it has 1000 vocabulary words.
She also fell immediately in love with the original Curious George books. She calls him George Monkey. I love the illustrations, they make it easy to make up stories when you don't want to stick to the script.
Finally, she knows a lot of classic rhymes because of a book Aunt Velda and Uncle Kurt got her -- I think it's called A Treasury for One Year Olds.
