Back home

First of all, it's worth mentioning that Georgie had her first juice yesterday -- pear juice diluted with water from a 'training' sippy cup.
Georgie is pleased to announce that we are back home in Dupuyer after two days at the Grandparents. We got 100 gallons of propane delivered today and I was able to start both the furnace and water heater without destroying myself or our house.

Nikki gave a lecture to high schoolers today on language loss and language revitalization. It sounds like it went well, considering how much attention high schoolers give any topic.

Georgie had her second of two flu shots today. We also had her weighed and measured. We were hoping this was the big 20 lb. weigh-in but she came in a little shy at 19 lbs. 3 oz. She was 70th percentile for weight and 95th for height. We are a little doubtful of the height. It's hard to measure the length of a squirming child. Either way I will encourage her to play basketball.

Finally, Georgie continues to practice her grimace:
