Work Hard, Play Hard

I had a flat tire on the way to school today. Yesterday the tire pressure indicator light came on, but I thought that might have happened because of the temperature dropped (that's what happens with our car). I checked the tires, and they all looked OK. But they were not, I found out today. I drive on gravel for about 16 or 17 miles (I think) on my way to school, and I was driving slow, so I didn't notice anything unusual. Then when I got to the highway, I thought I was just feeling the (very little bit) of gravel on the highway (because of the roads that were icy/snowpacked ... much better today, btw). But after a couple miles on the highway, I could tell I was getting a flat. So I checked, saw that it wasn't totally flat, then drove back to the gravel. I texted Aaron, who met me at the gravel to fix the tire. I told him it was 35 or 36 degrees out, but I didn't tell him the wind was blowing about 40 mph. That was a long and boring story. Anyway, Aaron saved the day.

Our hero, hard at work: (Pictures with Aaron's phone, from our car, so not the best quality)

He got it fixed in what I thought was great time, considering the conditions.

When we got home, we played with Georgie and had a great time. Aaron set up the playpen for her yesterday. She likes to play peek-a-boo from there, but she's too mobile to be happy in there for long. Plus she looks too sad in there by herself.

Our hero, hard at play, with our darling girl:

I'm pretty sure Aaron violates the weight limits on the playpen. Just because he's an adult, I mean.
