New tire day
When Nikki got home today, we went to Valier to either get our popped tire patched or get a new one if they couldn't patch it. We stopped into the garage and they took a look at it. It had a pretty bad gash from a chipped piece of rock (we drive a lot on gravel). They didn't have the replacement we needed so we headed to Conrad. The Conrad tire place didn't have the tire either but sold me a cheap tire of the same size to serve as the spare until we got the real spare off. Then the very helpful head tire guy had a brainstorm -- we could put the spare, which is the right brand, on the real rim and put the used tire on the spare rim. Long story short -- instead of 200 dollars it cost us $45.
We then went to the IGA in town and Georgie had a blast walking the entire length of the freezer aisle while leaning against it. Any day now she is just going to let go.
