Day 2 has been quite a blast. First we had breakfast tacos. Georgie tried her first bean and cheese from Taco Cabana, which she really liked. Then Nikki and I had back to back eye doctor appointments. That's what everyone does on vacation, right? While Nikki was with the doctor, I went to Central Market. I could fill a suitcase with stuff from there that I want to take back.
When we got back, Georgie played a game with Nana: cleaning old toys off with a bucket of water and a rag. What no one knew at the time was that Georgie had put Nikki's phone in the bucket. It's outside drying now. We'll see if it works again.
For lunch we had an old favorite -- Texadelphia. Then in the afternoon, Adam, my dad, and I all went to a new brewpub that's opened on the outskirts of town called Freetail. I had a good coffee porter on cask and a great alt bier by (512) Brewing in Austin.
For dinner tonight, we made fish tacos. We mostly used the outstanding meat from the sharks my dad and Adam recently caught. Due to mercury concerns, Nikki and Georgie had orange roughy instead. Georgie loved it. Now's it's time to read her a story so she'll fall asleep.
