Clemyjontri again

Nikki took Georgie to this nice park recently and we decided to go back as a family today. It's designed with little kids (and also special needs kids) in mind, so it's a lot easier to watch a 1.5 year old here than other parks. I was glad Nikki kind of rushed out of the door today, because within a half hour of us getting there, the place was absolutely swamped.

Just so you know, it's Georgie who always turns this hat backwards. She just likes it that way.

The highlight of the park was the carousel. Georgie kept pointing at it and saying "Horsie!" so we bought a few tokens and took a ride. (The rest of the park is free though, which is really nice)

After the park, we stopped by a very nice toy store in north Arlington that we hadn't known about. Georgie once again made a beeline for the train table and started pushing the train cars around the track.
So we decided to reward our big girl with an early eighteen month birthday present -- we got her started on the whole Thomas And Friends train set system.

She got a figure 8 track with a bridge and water tower and two trains -- Thomas and Lady.

This could turn into a real habit if we're not careful. But she loves playing with these in the store, and loves trains in general, so we couldn't resist.
