17 Months Old

Today was Georgie's 17-month birthday. For (virtual) posterity's sake, I wanted to note that she's talking up a storm. She tries to repeat most words we ask her too, spontaneously says words, answers "Georgie" and points to herself if we ask "What's your name?", and will repeat words she hears in conversations between other people (including last night at the pool, a lady was scolding her son and said "DO YOU WANT TO GO HOME? DO YOU WANT TO GO BYE-BYE IN YOUR CRIB?" Georgie repeated "home" and "bye-bye" after the lady said them, and so it sounded like she was making fun of the lady; pretty funny). It's hard to keep up with how many words she knows, but we have an ongoing spreadsheet (ah, modern parenting) so we have another record of this fun, special time.

Anyway, some pics from an outing from today with playgroup people.

I see she is playing "Aaron Rules Skee-Ball"

Can't wait to hear all those words in person soon!
