First full day together/Helena

Today was my first full day with Georgie and, at almost 8 hours, a record for time I've spent alone with her. It went mostly well, with only a little bit of fuss at naptime. Mostly though it was just a full day of horseplay and snacking. Not a bad way to spend your time.

Here's Georgie's favorite way to spend time: playing chase in the hallway.

So we're in Helena right now. Our actual weekend destination is Bozeman, but we decided to get a headstart tonight rather than drive the whole way tomorrow. We were going to go to Missoula but this is commencement weekend and all the rooms were booked.

Along the way we pulled over at a rest stop in the Big Belt Mountains.

You probably can't tell, but Georgie and I are at the top this hill.

So we'll try to get on the road early tomorrow and start the sightseeing early. I'm excited to see Bozeman. It's probably the single place in Montana that I want to see most but haven't yet.
