Great Falls to the farm

Our day started in a hotel in Great Falls last night. We had a nice leisurely morning playing in the room and having breakfast.

Then we picked up some provisions.

And headed home. Georgie has gotten really good about reading in the car. When it's just one of us in the car with her driving, she happily sits and occupies herself with her books.

It's that time of the year again -- the cows down the lane all have new calves.

Speaking of meat, here's some exciting news about an upcoming dish. Our friends Lance and Marge in England sent us a couple of these neat Indian food spice packs:

It's a lamb dish so we went to 2Js hoping to find some good lamb stew meat. They didn't have any, but then we thought that if a dish is good with lamb, it'll be good with beef.

So I found this and we are very excited about it. It's from a ranch in Big Timber, a town I recently spent an icy night in.They raise a rare breed called White Park. Stayed tuned for pictures of us actually making it.
