Fifteen months old

Today is Georgie's 15 month birthday. To celebrate, we decided we needed to do something out of the ordinary so we went back to Monkey Business, the gym for little tots in Falls Church. The last time we were here was when Georgie was 1o months old, so she was able to take advantage of the equipment a little better this time.










And here's a video. First Georgie walks up the slide. Then she does a little dance that I call her Super Bowl end zone shuffle. Then she slides back down. We did this sequence about 50 times.

The day didn't start off quite this fun though. I have been having foot pain the last few weeks and went in for the first podiatry appointment of my life. I got an exam and x-rays and it was determined that I have a bone spur on my left heel and plantar faschiitis. The doctor took a mold of my feet for orthotic inserts and gave me some meds and stretching tips. He didn't give me a cortisone shot, which I'm happy about.
