We went to a little park just down the way from the "hotel" (which is what Georgie is calling our folks' house) to enjoy the beautiful day we had here. The park had a nice playground where we watched Georgie go down several slides. The nicest part, for me, was that she let me take her around for a while by myself. We walked across a little bridge, went down several slides and chased several birds (Georgie wanted to say 'hi') and had a great time. Its been such a treat seeing her at an age where she's talking and interacting with us. I went for a run this evening and apparently she was asking for me the whole time I was gone. That just warmed my heart, I can't wait for all the visits to come. I really hope at some point I can live in the same city as the Seifert-Hobbinses again!
I have many pictures, which I will post here or on my flickr page later, but did want to post a picture most of us don't get to see often. It was great to see these two sitting enjoying even a few quiet moments together.
