Sunday morning we left our hotel rather early (for a couple with a six-month old) and heading out for a little shopping. The first stop was drive-thru coffee. Then we went to another farm/ranch store in a continuing quest for boots for me. Georgie managed to entertain much of the staff, but I didn't find any boots. By the time we got to Costco, Georgie was asleep and so I ran in an did a quick shop myself.
Then we made our way south and east to meet Chanda and Derek at Flathead Lake Brewing Company. I've been saying for two years that this is my favorite brewery in the world and their streak continues.
We had lunch at the Raven across the street, which serves FLBC beer. I had a bison/elk burger and a brown ale. We had a nice time catching up with Chanda and Derek and after lunch we went across the street again to get some growlers. I got one each of the pale ale and the stout.
We had a nice drive back over the mountains, with only one frightening part. We took the East Glacier-Heart Butte cut-across and found out that that road is full of potholes (are they still potholes if it's a dirt road?), narrow, windy, and hilly. I think it did save time but I don't think it was worth it.
We got back around 7 and began to enjoy our first night in our new place. I had to work but we still managed to cook a little food and straighten up a little.

I'm glad to see the term "Montucky" is more widespread than I thought! I wish I had been there. Having a burger and fresh beer with that scenery to look at sounds wonderful!
