Our time here is running thin. We spent the morning packing and sorting stuff. I put a lot of stuff out on the curb and it's already all gone. For father's day, Nikki got me a gift certificate for a massage at a spa in Adams Morgan. We are running out of opportunities so in the middle of work today I got to have a very nice little break. I've never had a real massage before and it was really nice. I guess I thought it would be like an extended back rub. But the masseuse used techniques I never would have thought of, including things that kind of hurt at first but seemed therapeutic.
Afterwards we all went to an Indian restaurant up the street. Georgie liked it the best. The Indian proprieter was very impressed with her ability to smile on cue.
We got home and I disassembled the wardrobe and bed frame, thus undoing any benefit of the massage. But that's OK because we sold the whole bedroom set on craigslist and now we have some room to work with.
