On the road, part 1

The Grandpapa and I are currently on the Penna. Turnpike. We just ate at Quizno's and then he took over driving. We're making decent time and getting 32 mpg so far. We stopped in Frederick to get two new rears tires at Costco because my dad noticed yesterday that there was a gash in my rear passenger tire. But we saw a Nissan dealer nearby and stopped in and had them look at it. The guys said it wasn't deep enough to do any damage so we didn't end up with new tires. I hope I don't have a 'flat tire on the interstate' story by the end of the trip. The cats are being more or less silent, though Nino spoke up a little earlier. Nikki made it to MSP with no problems with Georgie. They're on their second leg now. We are 55 miles from the Ohio border and going strong. More to follow...
